Job Description

I have been approached by the joint MD of this highly successful and rapidly growing consultancy.

My contact’s previous roles have included Director and London Head of Building Consulting for AECOM and Director and Head of Design and Contract Administration for Savills.

Things have developed rapidly over the four years my contact has been there. They have always been a stable and profitable company throughout their twenty years existence, however their expertise in the warehouse, logistics and retail sectors have catapulted them into the major league and therefore naturally into a much wider range of sectors.

Success with key clients like Amazon, GLP, DHL, John Lewis, Argus, BMW and Jaguar/Land Rover, has not only meant rapid growth across the UK, but also now across Europe and further afield.

Whilst warehouse and logistics remains core to their business, other key sectors now include significant residential, office, mixed use and private residential projects for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.

Their success with such blue-chip clients is no fluke. It is entirely down to their attention to every detail and a very simple and clearly identifiable strategy with regards to the type of person they invite to work with them. The also look after their staff incredibly well with a very competitive package including a bonus scheme up to 20%. Also not one team member was furloughed throughout the last year.

The Role

Due Diligence and Pre Construction Project Manager – to assist and/or lead projects taking development schemes from site identification by the developer, undertaking all Due Diligence to allow acquisition and the creation and submission of the planning packs.
This is mainly in the logistics sector, but also offices and residential. You will also be project monitoring for banks and funds. The position will cover some contract administration duties with close interaction with the Quantity Surveying team. This would ideally suit someone from a Building Surveying background but we would be open to professionals with the right skillset from an Architectural, Project Management of Quantity Surveying background.
